هو خليفة المسلمين الثاني بعد المئة و السلطان الرابع و الثلاثون من سلاطين الدولة العثمانية
خلع السلطان العثمانى عبد الحميد الثاني ..هو خليفة المسلمين الثاني بعد المئة و السلطان الرابع و الثلاثون من سلاطين الدولة العثمانية ، و السادس و العشرين من سلاطين آل عثمان الذين جمعوا بين الخلافة والسلطنة ، وآخر من امتلك سلطة فعلية منهم ..تولى السلطان عبد الحميد الحكم في ( 10 شعبان 1293 هـ – 31 أغسطس 1876 ) و خُلع بانقلابٍ سنة ( 6 ربيع الآخر 1327هـ – 27 أبريل 1909) فوُضع رهن الإقامة الجبريَّة حتّى وفاته في 10 فبراير 1918م ، و خلفه أخوه السلطان محمد الخامس ..أطلقت عليه عدة ألقاب منها “السُلطان المظلوم”، و”السُلطان الأحمر”، و “الخاقان الأعظم” و يضاف إلى اسمه أحياناً لقب “غازي”..قامت جمعية الاتحاد و الترقي بمساعدة البريطانيين بإعلان التمرد على السلطان واتهموه بعدة تهم ، منها الإسراف و الظلم وسفك الدماء و تحريق المصاحف و الكتب الدينية ، و انكر جل المؤرخون هذه التهم التي وجهت للسلطان ، استدعى المجلس الصدر الأعظم “توفيق باشا” ليبلغ السلطان بقرار الخلع إلا أنه رفض ، فكلفوا وفدا من أربعة أشخاص ، و قرأ الوفد الفتوى على الخليفة ، و نصب محمد الخامس أخ عبد الحميد الأصغر محله ، ونفي إلى مدينة سالونيك مع مرافقيه و عائلته عبر القطار ، و لم يُسمح لأحد منهم باخذ حاجياته و صودرت كل أراضيه و أمواله ..و لعله لا يخفى على أحد قصة رفض السلطان العثماني عبد الحميد الثاني بيع فلسطين لرئيس الوكالة الي&ودية ثيودور هرتزل الذي قدم إلى إسطنبول يونيو 1896 و حاول لقاء السلطان عبد الحميد الثاني لإقناعه بالسماح للي&هود الهجرة إلى فلسطين مقابل سداد ديون الدولة العثمانية بشكل كامل ورفض السلطان مقابلته و التفريط في شبر واحد من أرض فلسطين ، تلك القصة التي ربما كانت السبب الاساسي في خلعه و حينها قال السلطان العثماني قوله المشهور : “لا أستطيع بيع حتى و لو شبر واحد من هذه الأرض ، لأن هذه الأرض ليس ملكٌ لشخصي بل هي ملكٌ للدولة العثمانية ، نحن ما أخذنا هذه الأراضي إلا بسكب الدماء و القوة و لن نسلمها لأحد إلا بسكب الدماء و القوة و الله لإن قطعتم جسدي قطعة قطعة لن أتخلى عن شبرٍ واحد من فلسطين” .. The Othmani Sultan Abdul Hamid II took off.. He is the successor of the second Muslims after the hundred and thirty-fourth Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and the twenty-sixth of the Sultans of the Ottoman who combined the Caliphate and the Sultanate, and the last one who possessed actual power from them.. Sultan Abdul Hamid took over on (10 Shaaban 1293 AH-31 August 1876) and was taken off by a coup d ‘ état (6 Rabe El-Al-Akhr 1327 AH He was placed on house arrest until his death on February 10, 1918, and his brother, Sultan Muhammad V, was succeeded by him. Several titles, including ′′ The Oppressed Sultan “, ′′ The Red Sultan “, and ′′ The Greatest Khakan “.. and sometimes added to his name ′′ Ghazi “.. Perhaps the story of the rejection of the Ottoman Sultan Abdel Hamid II to sell Palestine to the head of the agency to & Friendly Theodore Hertzel who came to Istanbul June 1896 and tried to meet Sultan Abdel Hamid II to persuade him to allow the one who & Hood immigrated to Palestine in return for paying off the debt of the Ottoman Empire and the Sultan refused to meet him and to break up an inch of Palestine’s land, a story that may have been the main reason for his dislocation and then the Ottoman Sultan said:′′ I can’t sell even an inch of this land, because this land doesn’t belong to my person, but it belongs to the Ottoman Empire. We only took these lands by pouring blood and power and we will only deliver it to anyone by pouring blood and power and God, because if you cut my body piece by piece, I will not give up an inch of Palestine
